General Arrangement drawing

The Trust's Education Officer Melvin Haigh has produced a General Arrangement drawing of the A4 Pacific. This highly detailed technical drawing, to a scale of half an inch to one foot, shows a Longitudinal Section Elevation of the Engine and Tender, with Cross Sections through the Smokebox and Boiler, also Elevations of the Front of the Locomotive, the Cab, and Front and Back of the Tender. The drawing size is 1 metre x 42cm and this item's price includes p&p.

Sectional Drawing

In addition to the General Arrangement Drawing of 60007 we now have available a Sectional Drawing of the Gresley Water Tube Boiler Locomotive and the High Pressure Compound Locomotive of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad. N.B. This item's price includes p&p.

Overhaul Video and CD

We plan to release a Video of the Overhaul which has been filmed throughout the last four years, and a CD is to be made from over 3,000 photographs taken during the Overhaul of the Locomotive and all its components. It is hoped these will be available by late 2006.

Sale of Redundant Parts

A number of redundant parts removed from the engine during the Overhaul are to be offered for sale to members during late 2006. A list of parts will be made and advertised in Chime and on this site. These will be available to members only so join now!
